Tendenze: EATING WITH THE CHEFS: A STOMACH-STIRRING LOOK AT THE STAFF MEALS SERVED AT THE WORLD'S TOP RESTAURANTS

Food photographer, Per-Anders Jorgensen has released his new book, Eating with the Chefs: Family Meals from the World’s Most Creative Restaurants, in which he presents the delicious meals that chef’s and restaurant staff create for themselves.

Jorgensen visited 18 of the world’s most famous culinary locations to get up close and personal with the chef’s, restaurant staff and of course the meals that they share. The book is filled with close-up shots of such dishes, displaying the home-style warmth that people love so much. Surprisingly, many of the meals featured are rather simple but still hold that mouthwatering element only a top-chef could prepare. Why is the staff meal worthy of photography and publication? Why is this subject of any interest? Per-Anders Jorgensen says, “because the deal with food and the end result depends largely on having staff that is happy and can perform at a high level.”
